rawdogging laundry (and other stories)
life tracking course: enrollment open
Enroll before Nov 30, 2025 (PST): vegantechnomad.com/unhinged-life-tracking
The other day I ended a call with a friend and suddenly couldn’t finish doing my laundry.
I hadn’t even realized I was folding laundry.
When I’m yapping, I like to just do stuff with my hands.
A lot of the time, chores would get done so easily as long as I’m chatting away.
But as soon as the call ends?
What seemed so easy before became impossible.
So instead of finishing my laundry, I:
Searched for an audiobook to listen to so I could do laundry
Got distracted by TikTok
Got sucked into a 27-part storytime about this lady divorcing her serial cheater husband (watched this for like 3-4 hours at 2x speed)
Can you relate?
Not having a system = rawdogging laundry
I couldn’t think of a better way to describe it 😅
Not having my productivity systems would literally be like doing chores painfully:
Manual
Boring
I keep getting distracted and procrastinating then feeling guilty about it
But because I built a system that works for me most of the time, life feels:
WAY easier
More fun
Energizing
It’s the same reason why we can focus for 8+ hours and stay up til 5am on our latest creative project / hyperfixation,
But procrastinate on the boring admin work for months.
Here’s another example of what I mean…
Example: time tracking 24/7
I’m not more disciplined or hardworking than you.
I’ve just created systems that work with my energy, instead of against it.
For example, as soon as I started tracking my time,
My behaviour changed now that I was being “watched” by the timer.
It was the same for my students:

But this isn’t just about tracking your life
It’s about changing who you are.
From someone who:
Procrastinates
Is “lazy”
Feels guilty about resting
To someone who:
Solves problems creatively
Manages their time and energy well
Is kind to themselves
Because the reason why I track my life,
Why I gather all this evidence of how I’m living…
It’s not because I always look back on my tracking.
Or because I want to be in history books someday.
It’s because the act of tracking my life helps me build trust in myself.
When I feel like I got “nothing” done during the day,
And am about to spiral into those “what-am-I-doing-with-my-life-I’m-so-useless” moments…
My nightly journaling and habit tracking routines always vibe check me and show me that actually, I did do a lot that day.
Every day you can hear advice like “be kind to yourself,”
But nothing really helps you feel it,
Unless you set these simple, fun systems to take care of yourself.

And that’s what the course is about
It’s more of a system to teach you how to think and problem-solve rather than productivity hacks.
This week is the last time I’m offering the cohort as it is, since I’m rebranding to be more business-oriented.
And since it’s Black Friday week, I made a few updates:
Added some live calls (open to all students, including alumni)
Added a 6-month payment plan
Hope to see you in the cohort?
(Deadline to enroll is Sunday, Nov 30!)
